Deiva Marina is a small village of approximately 1,000 inhabitants, extending along the valley that starts at Mount San Nicolao, at an altitude of approximately 800 m, and reaches the sea. Its microclimate and its almost 300 m of beach, made up of small pebbles, sand and rocks, have made it one of the most popular seaside destinations in eastern Liguria for years.

Deiva Marina opens widely onto the sea, which dominates with its majesty, where the horizon stretches as far as the eye can see. We can assure you that here you will be able to admire, and not only during the summer, the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen.

Unlike other towns on the Riviera, Deiva Marina did not originate as a seaside village. Deiva, namely its historic centre, developed inland starting in the 1700s, centred around the Church of St. Anthony the Abbot, whose churchyard is embellished with a splendid "risseu" (a sort of magnificent carpet made of Ligurian stones). Opposite it stands a square-plan medieval tower, used for exhibitions and events. The urban development of the Marina area began later, around the post-war period.
